Hi all!!

First off, HOUSEKEEPING ANNOUNCEMENTS:

I have decided to furthermore attempt to crosspost all my posts from DW.
Don't worry though, I don't plan on leaving LJ any time soon as most of my fannish activity is still based here. But I really support DW as a platform, and what with the recent shenanigans Lj just pulled, it's good incentive for me to get in gear and establish my DW a bit more.
So. My Dreamwidth is Lunatique for those of you who wish to add me there.

Life has been pretty busy in Yue-land~ I went down to Ontario to visit a friend after coming back from BC, and ended up staying a bit longer than expected. Then said friend came to Montreal with me and stayed over for a few days while she settled appartment stuff.

And then there were the most excellent guests staying at frigg's place. Lots of fannish fun was had.

Now school has started, and so has my job. My classes are very interesting so I'm super excited~ Plus I actually get to be in the same class as friends this year. \0/
The job is very simple, and I am basically paid to do... not very much at all, which is stupidly exhausting in a certain way. But I'm not complaining. Once schoolwork gets busier, I'll appreciate the time to work on homework.

I have a million things to draw and YES I AM AWARE how extremely extremely bad I am with owing people pics. I am slowly but surely making my way through the list. Fear not, I have not forgotten. I can only beg for forgiveness for the extreme lateness. *flops all over floor*

Dear Life,

Today, i officially fail at living you.

It starts this morning, when i somehow COMPLETELY FORGET that i planned to meet up with ryu_falconis at 1pm in Chinatown. My brain didn't register the Saturday part of this day... O-O So i'm going about my business, until 1:30pm when she calls.

At this point i GO CHECK Whompy's page to confirm about the show. I just fail to notice that June 6 =/= Today T__T

So i run out of the house and of course get there late. D8

And since i haven't eaten, i get some food at the bubble tea place(not recommended).
We chat and betsyli joins us some time later. There a lot of oogling at shiny CHisu!macbook~ 8D

I needed to leave at 5pm, so i go pay BUT FORGET THAT I CONSUMED FOOD. I pay for my bubble tea, and when the waiter asks me if there's anything else i shrug and say no (duh, i don't ever get anything other than bubble tea, right?... right?)

;_________; I only remembered 15 minutes after i left... ryu_falconis and bestyli would have had to pay for me. T_____________________________T I can't believe myself.

Anyway, I'm all excited because i firmly believed that Whompy would be at Indigo at 7pm. I set off to find Amy at her workplace since she isn't answering her phone, get all excited at her, and get my suspicion confirmed that no, she can't come. D8
That's ok, i'll take pictures for her, i figure, and set off to Indigo... to find NO SIGN that there'd be any kind of event. Strange.... So I run to Chapters just to check, and STILL NO SIGN.


At this point I'm calling up acidraiin frantically, since she's the one who got the news to me in the first place. She confirms she sent that text message YESTERDAY, and that we are, in fact, JUNE 7th.

I then wander back to Amy and cling to her for the rest of the evening. D8 Thanks for making everything better carrot_rice!!!!!

Something scary happened on the way home. These two guys in the same wagon than me were fighting, and one of them suddenly pulls out this huge knife. Thankfully, we were still in the station, so most people quickly got off. The two guys ended up getting off and running upstairs, but one of them had a lot of blood on his neck o.O eeeps~~ WHERE WAS SECURITY WHEN THIS HAPPENED?!! There's usually everywhere ._. except when you need them....
What a scare... >_<

So today, I learned:
1- To be aware of today's date. BEFORE getting excited about upcoming events. They may just have happened yesterday.
2- To not forget when you go out and buy a meal. Because, i mean, YOU HAVE BOUGHT A MEAL, HELLO!
3- That heat might just boiling my brain. I need to do something mentally stimulating, else my brain completely rot.
4- That I have the best, most forgiving friends in the world~ ♥ ;__;

I went to Hong Qiao's anime store and they had the 4 pieces set (short and long sleeved)for only 180 rmb!!*___* that's...less than 30 $CAN!!! X______X *dead*
I got a Fudomine set too!! *___*

If i have time i will try to get Hyotei and another seigaku set.... they only had 1 left .__. xDDDDD

Rant about road trip

I've been to Inner Mongolia these past days. Grasslands are wonderful *_* I didn't want to come back!!>_< The people are really nice too!! We went spent a whole day out in the mountains in the unpredictable weather (2 bouts of sunshine and 3 storms in 1 day). Out there are all field and little villages of earthen houses...>_< It's soo very poor, but very traditionnal *__* We really got to see how people outside of great cities lived...
I wonder how it feels like to grow up in the midst of sheep and cow herds, in field and mountains with only the bare necessity to live for...

Everyone should go to the Inner Mongolian Grasslands once in their lives!!! xOOO go drink milk tea omg...*drool*

I'm soo unsettled these days cause i'm worried i can't get back to canada in time for start of term .___. My plane ticket is for the 22nd, but term starts 21st X___X Because soo many people want to change tickets these days it's really hard to get an earlier ticket...I have to call them all the time to see if someone cancelled. ;____; I really really hope i get a ticket home sooner...I am hurrying to finish shopping so that i can leave on short notice ... I made a LOTS of progress today!!^_^ Just the CDS left to get~ :D
