Day 4 - Sulphur Mountain
Jun. 22nd, 2010 09:01 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Today was a hike up Sulphur Mountain. It's not an especially steep or long hike, but it does take you all the way to the summit of one of the highest mountains around and gives you a 360 view of the surrounding valleys.

Lots of interesting flora to keep tiny!Sulu busy.

Wildlife count!
Mountain Goats: Lots

baby goats! \0/
Chipmunks: Even more
And these lil guys weren't shy either. They came soo close to beg for food. Close to the point of climbing on me. xD It was adorbs. <3 Unfortunately we couldn't actually feed them, but it was funny to see them reach out.

Views on our way to the top

At the top!

It was hella hard to take good pictures cause there was nowhere for tiny!chekov and tiny!sulu to sit. The railing was soo unsafe and there was crazy wind. :(
This is Tiny!Sulu next to Mount Pilot. :P

There from the observation deck on Sulphur Mountain, there was a pass to the adjacent mountain top. We treked over there to get the view on the other side of that summit.

There be a tiny observatory on top where people used to some to study cosmic rays.

Psht! Tiny!Chekov already knew all that.

Tomorrow we roadtrip to Jasper and seeing the Icefields along the way \0/
