I was happily surprised about Sakura's fashion leg cast, too. I was sure they ahd given her random bitch!boots to feed their hopeless depressing gothic lolita Sakura.

D= But a part of me wants to know that it's just for show, because they were being watched (I mean, why would he face the window while cutting his writ other than to prove he saw them?). said that Sakura and Fai were very alike, and that Sakura will break soon- I believe he considers Fai 'broken' already. He kind of snapped and didn't shape back into his initial shape, and it unsettles everyone. His shining knight act is very creepy too, and he's trying too hard to be something when he doesn't feel for anything (his respect for Sakura? Sounds too contrived to be fully real. He's playing a role in his own body. )

You are right about the watching, but it doesn't seem right. Why would they put up a show about hotvampire-feeding? Because we all know it's Eagle spying on them hoping to peak at some manpr0n. I think they didn't notice it until after Kuro cut his wrist.

Fai is definetly broken. He was never complete to begin with, but now he's clearly in tatters T___T How he can still keep up his act is beyond me.
I don't think his affection for Sakura is an act, more like he's projecting was little compassion he has left towards the only pure and innocent being that is not hurting him he can protect. It's more like a mask for himself, to protect the only thing left worth protecting.

I don't think Fai's wearing a mask. When he's alone with Kuro, he has this smirk, but looks so damn lonely and pitiful - he's not wearing anything because he doesn't see anything left in himself to protect, so he wants to protect others, and the only one who'll let him protect them right then is Sakura. Which is why Kuro needs to get hurt for Fai to realize they haven't had sex yet! he can be useful and needed and appreciated.

But you are right that right then, she's the only one left that hasn't hurt him yet. Still, I get the feeling there is something missing or wrong, because he did 'give' his eye to the obsessed|Sya willingly enough, and did know of the consequences.. why is it hurting him so damn much? Or did he seemed so resolved back then because he wanted to die? Is this him having some post-failed-suicide-attempt coma? Where you kind had resolved yourself that you'd lost everything and then lost that too and just don't have any footing anymore?
