Day 3 - Lake Louise

I'm sorry for being horrible at replying to comments... It's just that usually by the time I sit down and do this I'm soo exhausted it's all I can do to even put up this post semi-coherently. (it just took me 3 tries to figure out what comes between 'reply' and 'comments')
Many apologies, but know I read them all and love you for them! ;A;

Today we went to Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. Loads of gorgeous sights.
Tiny!Chekov and I have worked out a system where he gets to snog Tiny!Chulu at all the nice scenic places provided he does his job and gets me there.






We saw a lots of wildlife today. 2 mountain goats, several moose very much up close, chipmunks by the handful and even a porcupine.



Our first stop is the famously gorgeous Lake Louise.


We went on a hike to the teahouse up in the mountains along the lake.

Lake Agnes, where the teahouse is. This lake is probably my favorite so far.
We had some homemade bread and soup and a delicious pot of Monks tea (earl grey and jasmine). *__*





Then we headed to Lake Morraine.


Tiny!chuku went off to have some adventures while I sat and rested on a rock.

I like collecting interesting rocks. Tiny!Chekov was very helpful in spotting colorful ones.


Then we did some canoing around the lake.



This post should have gone up yesterday but my comp died on me. Thank goodness for LJ's draft saving! =_=
Today we are tackling Sulphur Mountain. \0/ I KEN DO ZAT!
