GOOD THINGS:
-Slept in
-Went to the awesome!internship orientation and it was awesome.

SOUR THINGS

- So i'm taking this architecture class. AND IT KILLS ME DEAD. The teacher assumes everybody has prior knowledge of architectural terms so launches straight into comparisons of buildings with similar "styles" and "periods" but no explanation of what those styles or periods consist of. AND THE FIRST THING SHE SAYS IS PICTURESQUE ECLECTICISM and i'm there going WUT!? D8 She also has zero visual support in terms of HOW DO YOU SPELL THAT? Only slide upon slide of old parliament buildings. :/

I'm sure i'll catch on eventually, but its soo hard to keep up with taking notes cause i can't write that fast woman! She'll just... Says things. Once. and then move on. and then turns around and tell us THIS IS IMPORTANT REMEMBER IT! D8 D8 D8
*flops dead* i'm exhausted. I must have taken like... 8 pages of notes... >_> Eventually it will make sense. Just not today.

-The ARTE teacher just mailed me going "So what is your intership placement? Cause i got one thing but there's been changes."

PLEASE KEEP ME IN ST-JAMES I WANT THAT PLACE SO BAD ;_; Now i'm all anxious cause if they put me elsewhere i'm gonna be pissed. CAUSE I CHANGED CLASSES TO WORK AROUND THIS INTERNSHIP'S SCHEDULE! D8

On a happier note, the MERLIN FEST is awesome and i wish i had more time to DO STUFF FOR IT.. ;___;

As for Architecture teacher: what d'you think of investing a little mullah in obtaining a voice recorder for urself? I use one to record most of my lectures (1 teacher also zooms thru stuff, I'm liek, noooo, whut is this genetic code business you randomly talked about for liek 2 seconds that seems important, pls repeat, repeat!) and it's rather helpful. But yah-kno, for some ppl it doesn't work. You might not be able to recall exactly what your teacher referred to when you listen back on a lecture (for ex: when she goes "And this is important!" but 'this' isn't really in front of you, lol) so you might wanna leave some visual queues to follow along in your notes, like a star or smthg. But yah.
Professors, what can you do, eh?

Also, schedule wank = big stressor = hard to get rid of. I hope it works out for you, but there's this amazing force out there in the universe that smtimes likes to poke at your life bubble and be all liek: "Hey, you, time for some trouble! Things've been working out too well for you recently, add some chaos to make things right again." And then you're at its mercy until it's satisfied with your hours of flailing about helplessly, blood, sweat and tears et al...
But then stuff happens and things are okay again. YAY! Or something.

The only plus in that class is that I have 3 friends in it with me, so we figured that between the FOUR of us, we're bound to have something resembling a full set of notes. And have people to cling to/claw at. :P

Now then: that class sounds utterly terrifying D= I'm glad you are keeping good spirits about it! I've had teachers like that. It usually sorts itself out (i.e. you freak out the whole semester BUT YOU ARE AWESOME so I'm sure it will not be fruitless freaking alliteration, c wat i did thar?)

The Merlin!Fest is SO AWESOME. I am, like... living it. o_o And I don't really have time to be doing so as much as I am. But I don't even care! 8D

I actually really like architecture, especially since montreal is home to some quite amazing works, and its kinda cool to be able to look at them and go I UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS IS ABOUT! 8D
But this class was kinda painful ;_;

OMG THAT IS EXACTLY LIKE MY BACTERIAL PHYSIOLOGY/VIROLOGY CLASSES! (Only I think I asked to take the higher level courses so now I can only run into a corner and weep silently or smtg.)
