The [livejournal.com profile] go_exchange gifts for today... are amazing *_______* *DIES*

That art... all that amazing art...makes me feels like crap now ;________;
AND DREAMER!!! *o* YOU GOTS A FIC IN 2 PARTS!! lucky!!! XD

My artoftenipuri Xmas assignement is coming along slowly. Very slowly. I have a good BG done though, for which i'm proud! *o* I never do BGs!

Also, i dug through my files and found my Hong Kong trip picture! 8DD

View of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak :) We were soo lucky to get great weather the whole time! XD
Photobucket

Same view at night during the Light Show. We later found out how much more impressive the light show is viewed from Kowloon or Tsim Sha Tsui harbour area with the music .___.
Photobucket

Street view from the Wan Chai area not too far from the hotel. All that bustling busy HK you see in movies? Totally true.
Photobucket

DORKAGE
Photobucket

HK really IS a forest of concrete. When you're downtown you can barely see the sun, the buildings are soo freagin' tall and dense. It's dizzying @____@
From further though, its quite pretty.
Photobucket

A gorgeous little antique shop Lisha and I discovered *______*
Photobucket

Jet Li's plaque on the avenue of stars! 8DD
Photobucket

JUNK BOAT!! We couldn't get a ride on it, but at least we managed some nice pictures ^__^
Photobucket

Harbour view of one the many little day trip islands surrounding HK.
LOOK AT THAT BLUE SKY AND FLUFFY CLOUDS! It's sight for sore eyes for someone from Beijing! ;___;
Photobucket

HK has many curiosities. This is one of them.
Photobucket
YES. IT IS A DISTRIBUTOR MACHINE SELLING BOOKS. o___O I was that close to buying one just for the heck of it! XD

CAN ANYONE VENTURE A GUESS WHAT THIS IS?
Photobucket

It's a bucket, right?.
Not just any bucket though.
A bucket surrounded by those red thingers (however you call them) that look official.
In the middle of the Fine Art museum, Painting section.

I swear I saw a Marcel Duchamp for a moment. @_____@

Me: Hey look! How interesting! I wonder what this is!
Lisha: It's a bucket.
Me: I know! But what's it doing here? Maybe it a contemporary artwork! 8D
Lisha: Somehow I doubt it.
Cousin: *points up* The roof has a leak.
Me: DDD8

This is what too much contemporary art does to your brain. =_=

I did noticed i'm missing a whole lots of shots of various places we visited. See, the weather was soo boiling hot there that it melted away all our energy. My cousin, Lisha nad I eventually came to the Arrangement that if one of us took a picture of something, the two others simply won't bother, because reaching for the camera and staying still long enough to click the shutter required that much energy we didn't have to spare. Yeah, i was that bad. =_____+ Especially under the sun. Augh~ *melts*

But hey. I had a really amazing, superb and awesome time. What's better that a 5 day trip with only your best friend and your dorky cousin as a guide? 8D

To bed now. Gotta wake up uber early tomorrow to go renew assurance maladie card with cousin dear.

Victoria Peak! The views from there are beautiful. I never got to see a night view from the peak but the light shows are quite nice and it's cooler because I can't stand the heat, omfg

AND YOU GOT TO SEE JET LI'S PLAQUE. ♥ I saw Jackie Chan's ^-^;;

Ah I feel so stupidly dorky because I can reconize some places |D Nice photos :D/

YES! Apparently we really got lucky because typically mist shrouds the harbour and we don't get to see soo far~

I saw that one too!! *gots a pic somewhere* I think we walked the whole way looking for the actors we knew! XD

♥♥ I wish i could go there NOW and enjoy it without the heat ;-;

Ah that's awesome. Half the time there was usually a thin myst when I was there. But I thought that was kind of pretty too what XD;

LOL that's fun! XD I did the same thing but we didn't go the whole walk way XD I think I lazy

I know right? I feel the same way, I went in August several years ago and was dying in the heat. My father went in July this year and when he was back in the states, it RAINED in HK so he was all "my timing sux" ;_;''

I was there in late June and it was big sunshine the whole time. It was great at first because coming from Beijing-that-is-smog-covered, blues skies were precious.
Then I discovered how HK sun can roast you alive in that heat. D8

When we were on the beach, we wanted to try and boil an egg~ Unfortunately we didn't find anyplace near that sold individual eggs. XDD

Yeah.... my father and cousins said it was kind of smogish in Beijing. I never went to China so I have no idea |D
HK does that to you, especially summer. It can sap your energy so fast... I mean besides looking for manga, we spent time looking for a place/bus with AC D: I can be so happy when we are underground with subways

Ahahahaha! XD That's the best idea ever! My brother and I watched ice melt sometimes XDDDD;;;;

VERY smogish, its horrible for your lungs to be there in summer.

The problem with the AC is that its blasted soo high that it gets cold >__< Sauna to freezer, sauna to freezer... brrrr..

XD Hong Kong. I went there twice earlier this year. That place is like a tourist's haven - shopping, food, sights, they've got it all.

You take awesome pictures. *_* The first two look like they came right out of a postcard.

Yeah, that's one thing that I love about Hong Kong - nevermind that everything is so expensive, it's so convenient to live there because the public utilities are run so well.
