First off, ALMOST NORMAL FYE-KURO NESS!! zomg~ "Normal" as in they actually small talk at each other(during battle), not just emo at each other/not talk at all, althought they do that a great deal too. Kuro really knows how to get at Fye's heart, doesn't he? :O Thank god we still have him and his sanity left *o*

It's interesting how Clamp uses the birdcage imagery to go about this sort of "leaving" theme.
In Clover, Suh in her birdcage dreams that someone would come and take her away so she can find happiness. Here, Sakura is declaring she wants to leave on her own, to gain independance.
well, innit? In a way, both intend to begin a journey to find their own sort of independance~ :)

I was kinda expecting that i guess... But obviously, she can't. How is that to work out? They have to get to CELES dammit!!! O__O And sort out most of Fay's angst!! T_____T
There's no way Real!Syao is going to let her go on alone. HE WON'T EVEN LET HER GO GET TEA WITH EAGLE ALONE! XD over-protective much?

How much do you bet their final opponents will be like.. Suh + Ran/Gingetsu/Kazuhiko or something of that vein?? :D even Eagle himself maybe xDD??
I mean, it's not GIVEN that they will win, even if its seems likely.
But then, if they don't win, what was the point of introducing this tangent? O_O Clamp does nothing pointlessly~

Sakura CAN'T leave by herself, because.
1. I KNOW Syaoran will listen to Kurogane's advice and tell her not to go. He won't let her.
2. Fye won't let her.
3. Dad won't let her.
4. I won't let her. XD

And if she does, does that mean that Clamp will overfocus the story n her and forget about the MAIN character that is Fye? TT___TT

Anyway, I think their final enemy will be their own selves. They're already facing themselves in a way. But yeah, Sei MUST come back for a grand finale. Must must must must. And I want Fuuma cameos. =]

And the climax will surely be tied to HOLiC's climax. Can't wait, can't. *-*

You are absolutely right. Sakura will have to face her own decision about her memories/powers, Syao VS Syao of ocurse, very literally, and Fay is battling
"ashura-oh" bt really his own demons. Kuro is the only one who's sane, so he's gonna have to duel with Seii again!! xDDD
