Chinese people say that if your fish look fine but suddently dies for apparent no reason, it's because the fish has been sacrificed to "block" a bad luck for its owner. Your eye got hit by a tennis ball, right? Maybe you should've lost it, but since Turquoise "blocked" that fate (received it at your place), he died (seriously, how can a small fish survive a tennis ball?).
