I looked everywhere for a f*dging player that would let me screencap. Either it must be bought, or doesn't work on my episodes. I tried the crudest method, which is pause, printscreen and paste in Paint. It worked fine at first. I saved my files. Then when i try to open it again, and the f!@#$ing player window is completely BLACK!!!in ALL my files. ARGH!!!!! I just waisted 2 hours...

Is there a reason why WMP wouldn't show image when i try to watch PoT with it??o________O

er..^^;; usually it's because the size difference of the window and such. possible that sometimes when you just PRTSCR it would turn out as black or some movable squares. Best bet is to actually use a proper screen capturing program =)

hmm.. that's strange!
try capping something other than an avi, like mpeg or something. If that works, then your problem is avis. Now that I think of it, it makes sense. Pictures use to come out all black when I attempted capping avis about a year ago, but I was too dumb then to figure out what was causing it.

Sorry for misleading you :(

Mm.. if you go onto google to just type screen cap program it would work.

Such as the one as here

It -should work-.

Erm. Well, I do that too, only I use Photoshop. And the printscreen image sometimes turns out black, like what you said. Then I toggle back to WMP, and the screen's black too, until I resume playing the video. To make sure that I screencap the scenes correctly, I see to it that the image doesn't black out in the player when I toggle between windows - I only screencap and then paste to Photoshop when the image stays after I'd already switched to other windows.
