Sure~! There's no need to give me blank DVDs though. The first and what's out of the second season will all fit nicely onto two disks. Although, I'm not against bribe pics. >=D Just a question though, do you have a program that plays .mkv? 'Cause I know you use a Mac, and the program I use only works for Windows. >.>

Ooh, you are doing that Artist Alley trading card thing? I have simply no idea how to do decent recto-verso papers so have no idea how I'd do them. .__.

Did you decide on a place to do the pins? Ikeda and I have pretty settled on Mod Buttons/poseur ink and will have to send the order ASAP because of the shipping wait.

T'was to be mai sekrit pic for the AATC .___. The plan is to print out one single sheet and cut it up into correct card-size pieces, hence the puzzle concept~ :D The pic will be the back, and i'll be writting info+doodle on the "front".
Sides, i plan to make each one unique, so i don't mind doing the whole" handmade" thing...
call me crazy...

Question. How many of each design are you making? for pins/bookmarks/prints/etc?
I don't want to go overboard, but also want to have enough. O_O

I may also give in and simply do the "handmade back" with some colored markers. I'll see if I have enough time and dedication last minute, though. XD

I'm poking Ike to finish her two designs and we'll also send today, maximum tomorrow. I can pay right now at least, tough since we'll probably end up requesting more than 5 design and stuff, we'll have to ask for a custom quote.. I haven't checked yet how'd that work. I did e-mail them about price and shipping, and here's what they said (if you hadn't asked and are curious):

" The additional shipping cost for 70 buttons would only be $4 (for First Class International shipping). Recently, First Class shipping to Canada has been around 3 weeks (including some lag-time in Customs). If you'd need it to arrive before then, we could mail it Priority Mail International for a bit more. "

The number of prints and stuff is always a tricky one. I very much suck at it and Ike and I talk it out for hours and have two back-up plans because we are worry-heads. In the previous years, we make lists of our stuff and try to prioritize what we know would sell well, such as bookmarks. We never did pins so have no idea in that area - but as you can see I planned for maybe 70 pins in all, and we'd have 5 or 6 designs, so about 10 pins for each design. We don't have that many though, so as you have a lot more designs, you might want to lower that number to about 5-7 of each pins, just in case you don't want to be stuck with them? It's really confusing (and always easier to sort out in person, so we can debate back and forth. =P). For prints, we had between 5 to 10 of each, sometimes 2 or 3 of the bigger sizes (for the few 11x17). Ikeda sold out on some prints, and I of none, but now have about 3 or 4 of each. Since yours are much cuter and more fanart, you'd have even less left, like 1 or 2. So it'll also depend on whether your goal is to have none left or if you'd prefer having 'slightly more' than 'not enough'.

About that- there is always the back-up plans. That is to have all files ready on a USB key, and, if you ever sold out of anything on Saturday, you can run to a Bureau En Gros store (or any other that makes prints fast enough) that evening or the day after's morning and have a couple more of those printed out.

The thing with AA is also to realize that it's not such a bad thing to run out of something, right? If you run out of one thing, it might simply mean the people who wants to buy your things will have fewer choice, thus buying something else until you also run out of these - in the end, you'll have as much sales and less left-overs.

This comment took about 3 hours to write, distractions and all, so I think it covers most main things. Between 3 (little) to 10 (a lot) prints, depends on numbers and how you feel about left-overs, and having back-up files for emergency printing can also be good. You'll also have to figure out the cost for all of these but I think the Otakuthon Forums has a lot of very good threads about this. Speaking of which, please do make an thread on the forums: they'll adore your stuff and will look forward to it and you can ask questions. There goes! ^^
